Parking guidance

Check the curb. Then park.

Spark helps you remember a spot and its street-cleaning schedule. It does not check every parking restriction or guarantee that you will avoid a ticket.

Before leaving your car

  • Read the signs for the actual space and side of the street.
  • Check temporary restrictions, meters, hydrants, driveways, bus stops and other rules.
  • Confirm Spark’s pin and curb side match where you parked.
  • Check the next restriction and set a backup alarm if the deadline matters.

Missing data, a green status, a “move-by” time or silence from the app is not permission to park. Current rules and lawful directions from authorities govern.

A holiday is not a free pass

An alternate-side parking suspension concerns street-cleaning restrictions. Other rules can still apply, including meter, no-standing and temporary restrictions. Check the city’s current notice and the signs for your specific space.

An alert is a backup

iOS, location quality, permissions, battery and network conditions can affect detection, reminders and widget updates. Shared-car information depends on someone saving the current spot. Open the app and check the real location when something looks stale.

Troubleshoot reminders or shared-car updates.

Keep your attention on driving

Stop safely before reading the app, moving the pin or changing settings. Siri does not make distracted driving safe or lawful. Spark’s voice answers concern available street-cleaning data, not every restriction on a street or a confirmed empty space.
